From the shop floor to process improvement

I'm Rico Westerbeek, founder of Provalize. My career started on the floor: at Philips Drachten I worked for more than six years on the production lines for baby products, growing from skilled operator to process engineer. That's where I learned that the best improvements are made together with the people who do the work every day.

With a background in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) and SMED, I cut changeover times there by 80% and structurally reduced product rejects. Later, in Riga, I led the start-up and stabilisation of a 20-machine production line after an international relocation.

Why Provalize

Provalize was founded on the belief that good processes and strong project leadership are the foundation of every successful organisation. I don't push a textbook method; I look at what your organisation really needs at that moment.

As a consultant, interim engineer, project coordinator or project leader, I take full ownership of planning, progress and the end result. I act quickly, communicate clearly and connect people and processes to achieve concrete goals.
